WEEE Policy

Take-back Policy UK
In the European Union (EU), waste from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) is subject to regulation designed to prevent the disposal of such waste and to encourage prior treatment measures to minimize the amount of waste ultimately disposed to landfill. The objective of this regulation is to preserve, protect and improve the quality of the environment, protect human health, and utilize natural resources prudently.

Take-back Policy (EU outside UK)
Autosmart International Ltd products sold in EU countries, other than the UK, are sold through franchise networks. Franchisees outside the UK can effectively become importers and as such are the ‘Producers’ of Autosmarts products within the scope of the EU WEEE Directive. Either Autosmart head office (where applicable) or our franchisees have registered with a WEEE compliance scheme in each respective country.
