Autosmart Conference Sales Award Winners

The 2019 Autosmart conference acknowledged the great work of the franchisee network and recognised the achievements of outstanding performers from the UK and Ireland.

The conference awards were held at the prestigious Hilton St George’s Park hotel, home to the Football Association National Football centre.

The four winners of the best growth awards in their categories are:-

Tom Gerard – Leeds

Tom left the role as an Autosmart Regional Business Manager earlier this year and has had a very successful first year as an Autosmart franchisee. Tom says, “My past experience as an RBM has really helped me deliver these results. I am very proud to have achieved this award in only 7 months and did so by following the advice I used to give others, stay focussed and stick to the Autosmart system.”

Paul Daley-Smith – Scarborough

Paul took delivery of a striking new Autosmart showroom in late 2018 which has helped him to combat the challenging and vast terrain of his area. Paul says, “Investing in the bigger truck has meant that I have been able to have more products on board and offer our customers more variety. The showroom attracts a great deal of attention and has really helped me to reach more of our customers, even those far afield.”

Jimmy O’Neill – Salesman for McCormack Chemcials

Jimmy took his inspiration from his customers who have been rooting for him to win and this gave him the motivation to push on to the end. Jimmy says, “I have had a great deal of team support during the last 18 months to help achieve these results and on top of that my customers really helped me to win this award. I am so grateful for everyone’s help and continued support.”

Edmund McIntyre – Salesman for McCormack Chemicals

Edmund puts his success down to his intense planning. He always gets into work early to get a plan in place and use his time to the best of his ability.  Edmund says, “There has been a lot of build up to the awards. I am so proud of the whole team at McCormack Chemicals as having them supporting me really helped me achieve the results. I feel it was very much a team effort,”
