Since 1979, we’ve created products that clean vehicles more quickly, effectively and efficiently.
We offer a range of courses, designed to provide the valeter with the appropriate knowledge and abilities to maximise performance in the work place, through efficient practices and improved standards.
Autosmart has run valeting training courses for over 30 years and the courses are delivered by an industry professional at the Autosmart approved training centre in Lichfield.
Each course contains a combination of theory and practical experience and on successful completion of a practical assessment, participants are given a certificate of competence.

Complete Guide to Valeting
This one day training course, aimed at both new and experienced valeters, provides comprehensive training on how to clean a car safely and effectively and teaches:

- Step by Step valet under instruction including:

- Valeting process
- Chemicals
- Valeting equipment
Smart Valeting: A Guide To The Tricks of The Trade
This course is aimed at existing valeters, who want to learn more of the tricks of the trade.
The one day course introduces additional profit-making valeting services, such as paint renovation, paint protection and odour elimination and is a mixture of both theory and practical. At the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
- Enhance the quality of their valeting, whilst saving time and physical effort
- Deal with problem areas – such as stubborn stains, odours and scratches
- Understand the importance of paint protection systems and their application
- Introduce new products and techniques to increase their profitability
Prior attendance of “The Complete Guide To Valeting” is recommended.
Ceramic Coatings: The Complete Guide to Matrix
This one day course is designed for experienced valeters / detailers, who would like to offer Matrix Ceramic Coatings as an additional service. During the course, delegates will learn:
- Benefits of using a Ceramic Coating
- Step by Step instruction on how to apply the Matrix coating
- Guidance on how to achieve the right results
- Recommended aftercare techniques
- Advise on complementary Matrix products available
- The market for Matrix
On successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded with accredited detailer status and a certificate and registered user card will be issued. Prospective customers will also be able to find a list of accredited detailers on the Matrix website.

Mobile valeting courses are personalised to suit you and can be booked through your local Autosmart franchisee or with your National Account Manager.
They are delivered by our experienced valeting trainer at a location to suit you.
Mobile valeting training is perfect for small groups of valeters that require a personalised car preparation programme, or want the convenience of having local valeting training on their own premises. Mobile valeting training also offers a better value option for group bookings.
